Why use this guide?

While you are taking classes at Lynn, you will be asked to write many kinds of research papers. Perhaps you need to do a speech for Belief and Reason and part of the assignment is to provide a written guide to the information sources you used to put together a persuasive speech. Or, you need to write a paper on the identity of Don Quixote for your Self and Society course. If your experience in high school was limited to short papers which didn’t require different types of sources and correct formatting, you should begin a paper by using this short guide. The Writing Center of the University of Wisconsin-Madison has given us their permission to use the document.
