What are they?

Lynn Library provides access to over 100,000 e-books. 

These are books you can read on your pc or laptop.

All of our e-books are included in the library catalog.

Here are instructions on locating Lynn's e-books by seaching the Library Catalog.

You can also go to the two main vendors of e-books (EBSCO e-books and ebrary) directly and search their catalogs individually.

Among the cool features of ebrary

  • segments can be cut and pasted into word documents with citations automatically accompanying the text
  • you can create a personal book shelf of titles
  • you can highlight and save notes in a personal account

EBSCO E-Books

E-books from EBSCO can be accessed directly through EBSCO e-books  or from links in the Lynn Library catalog.

For EBSCO e-books click on in the left column to see the book.

Establish a personal account to take advantage of some special features, like note taking.

To set up your account,click on  at the top.  Then Create a New Account.  You can use this account to save EBSCO e-books as well as articles from other EBSCO databses.  You just need to sign in to save or retrieve your saved e-books.
