The READ program began in 1985 by the American Library Association (ALA) with actor/comedian Bill Cosby.  The READ program is the organization’s most recognized promotion series for literacy and libraries.  Posters have featured actors, athletes, entrepreneurs, entertainers and academics. 

At Lynn University Library, our goal in developing our READ posters is to highlight the value of reading in people’s lives and the importance of libraries in promoting reading.

A collaborative project between the Library and the Marketing department, Lynn's Read program has been well received by the campus.
